Full Job Description
The Training & Talent Development Specialist II is responsible for designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning, change management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that enhance employee capabilities and align with business objectives. By collaborating with leaders, subject matter experts, HR team members, and project teams, this role effectively translates organizational needs into actionable solutions that strengthen skills, improve team effectiveness, facilitate change adoption, and enhance overall organizational performance.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (for candidates residing within commuting distance of one of our office locations).

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual learning experiences that develop leadership, team, and organizational capabilities across various programs, including Change Agility, Crucial Learning, manager development, culture and engagement, onboarding, and team member development.
  • Create toolkits, learning materials, and other practical resources that foster change adoption, leadership development, culture initiatives, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by evaluating change impacts, stakeholder needs, readiness, and potential adoption risks.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives by developing learning and organizational effectiveness solutions that prepare teams for change, encourage adoption, and enhance overall performance.
  • Lead change-related team discussions and learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to produce facilitator guides, presentations, activities, participant materials, and other learning resources.
  • Assess functional learning needs and transform findings into practical learning solutions and experiences.
  • Stay informed about current trends in learning, facilitation, organizational effectiveness, and change management practices, as well as the skills required for team members to adapt and enhance job performance.
  • Act as a trusted partner by providing coaching and guidance on learning, development, facilitation, and organizational effectiveness strategies.

Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of experience in learning and development, organizational effectiveness, change management, organizational development, facilitation, human resources, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in facilitation and presentation, with the capacity to engage diverse groups, navigate challenging conversations, and tailor facilitation methods to various audiences.
  • Preferred certifications in facilitation, learning and development, and change management. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, learning design, and instructional facilitation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A curious mindset focused on continuous improvement, actively seeking and incorporating feedback to refine approaches.
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and the ability to cultivate trust-based relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of property and casualty insurance is advantageous.
