Full Job Description
Hexcel is currently seeking a Training Manager for our Burlington, WA location. Hexcel Burlington fosters a strong plant culture centered on safety, inclusion, and teamwork to deliver consistent results. We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented leader to develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs that support operational excellence, employee development, and regulatory compliance. This role will partner with site leaders to strengthen workforce capability, oversee training systems and compliance, and support employee success in a manufacturing environment. Summary pay range: $95,169 - $163,148 annual salary.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
  • Conduct training needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and maintain training documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and certification processes.
  • Benchmark training programs and best practices to drive continuous improvement and workforce development.
  • Develop and implement training programs across manufacturing, technical, and support functions, partnering with department leaders to build employee capability and support operational goals.
  • Direct and coordinate site training activities, including regulatory, safety, quality, and technical training programs.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Monitor training compliance and support customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Develop and maintain an effective employee onboarding program that incorporates safety, quality, operational, and customer requirements.
  • Lead initiatives that promote a culture of continuous learning, employee development, and operational excellence.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, training, workforce development, quality, operations, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or coordinating training programs, qualification processes, or employee development initiatives.
  • Experience administering or utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) and maintaining training records and compliance documentation.
  • Experience developing training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, or competency assessments preferred.
  • Experience partnering with leaders across multiple departments to identify skill gaps and support workforce development initiatives.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and training management systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement methodologies; Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong project planning, facilitation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and conduct training for employees at all levels of the organization.
