Job Description

The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for improving the productivity and effectiveness of all roles within the US LEGO Education team, with an emphasis on upskilling and increasing performance, with the greatest focus on our direct selling team. It assesses organization-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify and arranges suitable training solutions for employees.

In this role, you are expected to actively evaluate, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance, with a primary focus on direct selling roles. You will need to apply the most effective modalities to deliver and measure the effectiveness of training and development being administered as the utilization of more than one modality will be required. This role will report to the Head of Sales Operations & Enablement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive training strategy by identifying training needs, creating, recommending, and implementing solutions.


  • Own the employee onboarding program that focusses on optimizing performance in key selling roles.


  • Plan, coordinate, calendarize and facilitate training programs.


  • Conduct standardized assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.


  • Design and apply systems and tools for the effective delivery and assessment of training programs.


  • Work cross-functionally with key partners to identify training needs and implement effective programs.


  • Perform all activities in accordance with the LEGO Group's brand, ethical and legal standards, including relevant policies (such as those related to undue influence; gifts, hospitality & entertainment; engagement with public officials and funding; and conflicts of interest, among others) and laws.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in designing and implementing employee development programs.


  • Experience with Direct Selling Methodologies and/or Certification in Professional Learning preferred.


  • Highly effective and proven presentation skills with experience in facilitating both in person and remote/virtual training programs.


  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Experience with online coaching platforms such as Rehearsal preferred.


  • Proven project management experience.


  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas and conduct persuasive presentations in English.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $75,436.00 - $113,154.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
