Job DescriptionThis role can work out of various offices in the
Virigina Mid-Atlantic Region.This OpportunityThe Traffic Management Center (TMC) Program Manager will be responsible for all work necessary to provide for the general management, oversight, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), contract administration, and management support personnel.
The Program Manager shall:- Be available all times during off-duty hours to provide assist operations staff.
- Participate in on-site and off-site meetings, build and maintain relationships with operational stakeholders.
- Manage staff administration, performance, and oversight.
- Lead performance measurement, management, and reporting.
- Implementation and oversight of client policies and directives.
- Lead data analytics activities including economic evaluation, and system evaluation.
- Report to the client daily on all matters affecting operations of the TMC.
- Be on call 24/7/365 for emergency and/or operational problems.
- Attend meetings with the client for purposes of relaying information.
- Create and distribute weekly, and monthly reports as needed, and
- Address special requests by the client for gathering data and/or generating reports.
Education and Experience Desired education and experience for this project include:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in TMC operations with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in TMC/Traffic operations/emergency operations, and transportation systems management and operations (TSMO),
- At least 4 years of project management experience for projects with a net worth of at least $5M,
- Experience in managing projects and tasks from inception to completion, and
- Experience supervising a minimum of twenty-five employees.
