Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Mentors junior employees.

Join our team as a Total Loss Adjuster! This role focuses on evaluating vehicle values, negotiating settlements, and resolving total loss claims. There is no liability or coverage investigation responsibility, allowing adjusters to concentrate on vehicle evaluation and customer interactions. Key Responsibilities
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases
• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:

MD Adjuster Analyst III: $50,000 - $74,350
MD Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $86,400
MD Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250
MD Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 -$117,700

Annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
