As our next Tool Room Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of leading tooling operations, supporting production requirements, and driving continuous improvement within the Tool Room. Your expertise in tooling, manufacturing operations, supervision, and process improvement will be critical to ensuring tooling readiness, equipment reliability, product quality, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Establish tooling inventory levels and adaptations necessary to meet customer demand.
• Oversee the repair and rebuild of hydraulic compacting rigs and mechanical sizing rigs.
• Maintain component and material inventories required for tooling, fixtures, and maintenance support activities.
• Provide technical assistance to Product & Process Development, Sales, and Production teams.
• Ensure tooling and rig preparation meets product delivery timelines.
• Maintain responsibility for tooling quality and manufacturing standards.
• Supervise technicians to ensure setups, Preventive Maintenance, and TPM activities are executed according to best practices.
• Utilize maintenance systems to communicate repair requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Resolve issues identified through audits, production meetings, and operational reviews.
• Drive productivity, safety, quality, and material utilization improvements.
• Provide coaching, technical guidance, and development support to team members.
• Identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
• Complete production, payroll, administrative, and human resources reporting requirements accurately.
• Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety management systems.

What We're Looking For:
• Postsecondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume, high-speed automotive stamping and/or machining environments.
• Training and experience in industrial process control.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• High integrity, accountability, and a strong results-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience working within Toyota Production System or Lean Manufacturing environments.
• Background in tooling, rig manufacturing, or advanced machining operations.
• Experience leading TPM and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
