- RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process with the objective to improve quality and reduce lead time on tooling construction
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experiences
- Degree requirement: Associate or Bachelor.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Foundry Engineer Experience. (Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process)
- Foundry tooling Design Experience. (Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process)
- Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast
- Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
- Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers)
