ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview
The Tier 3 Technician provides advanced-level IT support and account management services within a federal intelligence environment. This position is responsible for system account lifecycle management, identity and access management, PKI certificate administration, and escalated technical support. The role requires close coordination with security teams and end users to ensure secure, reliable access to enterprise systems while maintaining compliance with federal security policies and standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA, 9 years with a HS Diploma
- Extensive experience with enterprise directory services and identity management platforms
- Experience with enterprise email administration and collaboration platforms
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) ticketing systems and processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage user account provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms for enterprise environments
- Knowledge of endpoint management and software deployment tools
- US Citizen with active TS/SCI or Q/SCI security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Energy
- Familiarity with privileged access management (PAM) solutions
- Experience with cloud-based virtual desktop environments
- Knowledge of endpoint encryption and antivirus management platforms
- Experience with remote access and VPN solutions in classified environments
Target Salary Range$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
