Threats Analyst and Command Briefer

R&K has an opportunity to provide services to support Headquarters (HQ) AFSOC A2 to deliver specialized subject matter expertise to Air Force, USSOCOM, and AFSOC intelligence programs, supporting a comprehensive range of activities and objectives.

The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate supports and executes programs that enhance the capabilities of Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF) intelligence personnel. These programs are designed to ensure intelligence personnel are equipped to deliver comprehensive and actionable intelligence services to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) elements and subordinate commands. Program activities encompass the collection, interpretation, and timely dissemination of intelligence information gathered from multiple sources, including manned and unmanned airborne ISR platforms. In addition to airborne collection, AFSOC ISR conducts rapid, real-time synthesis of extensive intelligence data derived from diverse sources, such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), imagery intelligence (IMINT), and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).

Start Date: Anticipated start date July 16, 2026, contingent upon award.

Provides program support to AFSOC/A2 by administering the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) program and the intelligence formal training program. Note on Authority: The contractor submits all actions to government personnel for final review and approval. This role does not include the authority to set policy, approve government documents, or obligate government resources.

Duties:

  • Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Program Support.
  • Readiness and Recall: Conducts monthly IMA contacts to ensure recall readiness. Monitors and facilitates IMA deployment preparations and processes volunteer deployment documents.
  • Personnel Administration: Manages Reserve Officer and Reserve Enlisted Performance Reports. Processes key personnel forms, including Form 1288 for hires/releases and Form 2096 for duty information
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Validates IMA and Traditional Reservist (TR) orders and manages the Command Man-Day Allocation System (CMAS). Approves Inactive Duty Training (IDT) schedules via the Unit Training Assembly Processing System (UTAPS).
  • Resource Management: Manages the Manpower MPA Day account and monitors all IMA formal training requests.
  • Intelligence Training Program Administration.
  • Program Scheduling: Administers and schedules the HQ AFSOC/A2 intelligence
  • formal training program for all military, civilian, and contractor personnel. This includes
  • coordinating with formal military schools, national agencies, joint-service schools, and mobile
  • training teams.
  • 1.5.5.1.8. Quota Management: Coordinates formal course quota allocations and utilization with
  • AETC, ACC, ANG, AFRC, and the 315th Training Squadron.
  • 1.5.5.1.9. Reporting and Data Calls: Coordinates and submits the annual Mission Readiness
  • Training Program (MRTP) data call to AFPC and AFSOC Educations Operations (A1KE).
  • 1.5.5.1.10. Student Coordination: Manages the student lifecycle for the AFSOF-IFTU program by submitting training requests, obtaining Training Line Numbers (TLNs), providing student clearance status, and scheduling SSO read-ins as required.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies or related discipline.


Experience:

  • 5 years hands-on experience managing Reserve Personnel and Formal Training Programs out of the last 12 years.
    Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency.

Highly Desired: previous relevant experience in the Special Operation Forces (SOF) community is highly desired.
