Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert level engineering knowledge on threat radar systems, including emitter characteristics, tracking and guidance algorithms, signal processing, and engagement simulation behaviors for test and evaluation environments.
• Lead technical development and refinement of radar threat models, scripts, simulations, and hardware in the loop configurations to support high accuracy replication of adversary radar capabilities.
• Advise on integration of threat radar systems with range instrumentation, command and control architectures, frequency management tools, and multispectral sensor test environments.
• Conduct advanced analysis of radar system performance, vulnerabilities, countermeasure interactions, and interoperability with aircraft and weapon system test scenarios.
• Support engineering reviews, test planning activities, design evaluations, and technical briefings, providing authoritative recommendations on system behavior, threat environment configuration, and modernization strategies.
Required Qualifications
• Recognized industry expert or nationally acknowledged specialist in radar threat systems, electronic warfare, signal processing, or sensor emitter integration.
• Demonstrated ability to independently perform complex engineering, analysis, and system behavior modeling tasks and provide strategic recommendations to senior government and contractor leadership.
• Deep technical understanding of modern threat radar architectures, tracking modes, ECM/EP interactions, and developmental test methodologies.
• Experience supporting high fidelity modeling, simulation, hardware in the loop environments, or test range integration of radar threat systems.
Education & Certification
• No minimum formal degree requirement; SME designation is based on exceptional and unique expertise.
• Relevant EW, radar engineering, or advanced threat systems credentials preferred.
Clearance Requirement
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
