Job DescriptionServe as an experienced subject matter expert in the field of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM), with keen critical thinking skills and a demonstrated track record of successfully mitigating threats. Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide a safe and secure work environment across regions. Possess the ability to prioritize and conduct in depth investigations relative to assessing the threat of violence and mitigation of violence as it pertains to the workplace. Responsibilities- Manage the risk evaluation of workplace violence incidents and behaviors of concern, in partnership with other key stakeholders, for assigned business units
- Assist and provide guidance to division asset protection managers during critical incidents, specifically those related to the prevention and investigation of targeted violence
- Identify and assess workplace violence incidents and behaviors of concern, providing mitigation recommendations for highly complex problems
- Conduct sensitive interviews of victims, witnesses, and persons of interest during investigations, both virtually and in person
- Document investigative results in an articulate manner utilizing case management software to ensure accurate reporting, tracking and documentation of workplace violence incidents and behaviors of concern through the entire lifecycle of the incident
- Develop and maintain relationships with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of Human Resources, Legal, business leaders and external partners
- Strive to identify new opportunities and solutions that will aid in the mitigation of threats and identify and address behaviors of concern in the workplace
- Develop and leads BTAM training for a variety of internal stakeholder groups
- Travel up to 50% to support business units, often on short notice

QualificationsMinimum- Bachelor's Degree relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in security/ threat management
- Demonstrated sound judgement and independent decision-making skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to testify in criminal proceedings and maintain confidentiality
Desired- Any previous experience with structured professional judgement tools to assess threats
- Certified Threat Manager as accredited by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals
