Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is a plus but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of engineering and management experience required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings and equipment specifications needed.
• Solid understanding of key building codes and electrical standards.
• Excellent organizational and detailed-oriented skills essential.
• Effective problem-solving and exceptional leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the post-sales Thermal Engineering team from design to delivery.
• Lead team to create cost-effective designs that meet quality standards.
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering efforts with internal and third-party engineers.
• Collaborate with other Vertiv units and third-party suppliers for equipment selection.
• Engage with customers to align designs with their needs and expectations.
• Assist customers with permitting processes when necessary.
• Coordinate site work with the customer's General Contractor (GC).
• Manage contracted engineering companies for civil, HVAC, and structural designs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations during project execution.
• Conduct onsite assessments and provide engineering evaluations and audits.
