Qualifications
Required Skills:- Current state licensure therapy required.
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
- One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, ability to organize and delegate to appropriate personnel.
- Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the therapy department. Oversees employees in one or more disciplines, and assures all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the hospital and department. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
