Full Job Description
The Hollywood Reporter (THR) is seeking an Associate Manager, Creative Strategy to support the development of cross-platform marketing programs that drive revenue growth and align with THR's editorial voice, premium positioning, and brand objectives.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and execution, helping bring advertiser programs to life across THR's digital, social, video, print, and experiential platforms. The Associate Manager, Creative Strategy will play a key role in developing custom proposals, strategic sales materials, and integrated marketing initiatives for both proactive opportunities and incoming RFPs.

The ideal candidate is a strong creative thinker and polished communicator with experience building marketing narratives within a fast-paced media, entertainment, or agency environment. This person should be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects while working cross-functionally with teams across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of integrated marketing strategies and custom programs for advertisers across THR platforms
  • Contribute to brainstorms and help shape creative, insight-driven ideas for prospective and existing clients
  • Develop compelling proposal materials, pitch decks, and sales narratives that clearly communicate THR's value proposition and premium audience
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Editorial, Video, Account Management, PR, Research, Design, and Events to develop cohesive marketing programs
  • Assist in the execution and project management of sold campaigns, helping ensure timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination remain on track
  • Help develop proactive marketing packages, category narratives, and advertiser-facing materials that support strategic outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with design and research teams to source supporting assets, audience insights, and presentation materials
  • Maintain a strong understanding of entertainment, media, cultural, and advertiser trends to inform creative thinking and proposal development
  • Support internal knowledge-sharing by helping organize marketing materials, case studies, and sales resources


Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of experience in publishing, media, agency marketing, entertainment, or digital media
  • Strong creative writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft polished marketing materials and presentations
  • Experience contributing to integrated marketing campaigns, custom content initiatives, and advertiser proposals
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

As THR values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

A good faith estimate of the salary range is $85K - $95k upon hire. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
