The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00

About the Role
A role on the Design team offers the opportunity to create original, guest-focused products that inspire and delight. You'll combine creativity, trend awareness, and technical expertise to develop designs that are both innovative and commercially successful.
Working closely with Merchandising and Sourcing partners, you'll help shape product assortments that align with brand strategy, business goals, and guest expectations. You'll play a key role in ensuring consistency across product lines while bringing fresh ideas, new techniques, and compelling design solutions to market.
As a Textile Graphic Designer for Cloud Island, Target's baby brand, you will own the design and development of original graphics, prints, and patterns that support the brand vision and assortment strategy for the baby business. Using both hand-rendered and digital design skills, you will create exclusive artwork that brings trend and storytelling to life in a way that is uniquely Target.
In partnership with internal and external collaborators, you will guide artwork from concept through execution, ensuring designs are both creatively compelling and commercially viable. You'll research trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and draw inspiration from a variety of sources to develop relevant, guest-right design solutions. You'll also contribute to and present seasonal trend concepts, artwork direction, and textile assortment to Design and Merchandising partners.

About You:
- Four-year degree in Textile Design, Fine Art, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of textile design experience, including experience within the baby category
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of color, print, pattern, and assortment development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and partner with key stakeholders
This role works in office 4 days per week from our Downtown MN campus. This role is not eligible for remote work arrangements.
