Job Description

We are seeking a RAR Catalog Governance & ValidationLead to join the Integrated Services Business Office. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between business and technical system configurations. You will work with business stakeholders to govern our Integrated Services catalog for revenue deferrals and design, orchestrate, and execute a robust, automated end-to-end (E2E) testing and validation framework across interconnected systems (SSP, FPSS, SRP, Zuora, and SAP-iERP). Your work will directly enable zero-defect financial reporting in alignment with GAAP accounting principles.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong project management and testing background, with excellent communication skills, as well as experience in operations management and cross-functional collaboration. You should be able to work well in a team, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate with stakeholders across the organization such as Subscription Services Platform (SSP), Catalog (Zuora), Accounting Platform (SAP-iERP), Finance, Integrated Services business teams, and Vehicle Line Product Development.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

1. Financial Governance & Catalog Compliance
  • Deferred Revenue Governance: Manage the technical configuration and validation of end-to-end deferred revenue testing to ensure automated revenue recognition logic aligns with accounting standards and data flows.
  • Master Service List (MSL) Management: Partner with GTM stakeholders to update the MSL monthly. Secure timely approvals from the Integrated Services Finance Director and Senior Business Office Manager to support accurate deferred revenue accounting accruals.
  • GTM & Catalog Alignment: Review feature/GTM configurations, SKU/Rate Plan alignments, price points, and offer durations across global product catalogs (Retail and Pro) to guarantee flawless execution in production.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Conduct deferred revenue operations auditing to maintain a zero-defect financial reporting standard.

2. End-to-End Technical QA, Automation & Validation
  • Test Strategy & Execution: Lead, orchestrate, and execute E2E test plans for deferred revenue validation, establishing a robust testing roadmap.
  • Test Automation: Build and maintain automated regression suites, including:
    • Offers API validation (using Postman, Hoppscotch, or Python) against a complex VIN matrix and expected SKU/pricing structures.
    • VIN readiness checks in Stage environments (validating model year, MFAL, and packages via CVBOP).
    • Accounting verification in FARR_D_POB tables utilizing read-only SQL queries post-931 MM refresh.
  • Test Environment Management: Establish a reusable "Test VIN Factory" and design comprehensive negative testing scenarios to ensure system resilience.
  • Systems Coordination: Coordinate with RAR and iERP teams regarding 931 table/931 MM refresh timing to plan optimal testing windows.
  • Defect & Incident Management: Triage complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and produce clear, actionable incident reports.
  • Documentation: Maintain living runbooks, regression packs, and QA documentation to ensure continuity and scalability.

3. Process Improvement & Project Management
  • Cross-Functional Optimization: Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of the MSL and streamline service delivery across SRP, SSP, Accounting, and the Business Office.
  • Agile Operations: Establish and manage a Jira/ADO intake process and a weekly cross-team cadence; design and publish QA test reports, metrics, and progress dashboards.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead special projects and strategic initiatives in undefined/highly ambiguous spaces to support Services Marketing and product launches.

  • 3+ years of experience in technical QA engineering, system validation, or technical operations management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Hoppscotch, or Python scripts) and writing SQL queries for data verification.
  • Proven experience in E2E testing orchestration, managing test environments (staging, QA, Prod), and automated regression testing.

This position is a salary grade 6-8 and ranges from $115,000 - $150,000.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
