We are hiring for a Test Lead - State Integrated Eligibility (IE) opportunity. Role: Test Lead - State Integrated Eligibility (IE) Location: Remote Position: 1 Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong functional testing expertise in State Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing state government eligibility and benefits systems and will be responsible for leading a team of 6 to 8 testers through end to end testing activities. The Test Lead will oversee functional testing across eligibility programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and Child Care, while ensuring adequate coverage of eligibility determination workflows, cross program integrations, and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of 6 to 8 testers throughout the testing lifecycle • Plan, coordinate, and oversee end to end functional testing activities for State Integrated Eligibility systems • Ensure adequate test coverage across Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Care, and related benefits programs • Validate eligibility determination workflows and cross program integrations • Develop and maintain overall testing strategies, plans, scenarios, and execution schedules • Review business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing approaches • Monitor test execution, defect resolution, risks, dependencies, and overall testing progress • Coordinate with business analysts, developers, project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders • Identify testing risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies • Manage defect triage and ensure timely resolution of critical issues • Provide regular testing status reports, metrics, and executive level updates • Ensure testing activities comply with project quality standards and established SDLC and STLC processes • Support Agile and Waterfall testing activities as required • Mentor testers and provide technical and functional guidance throughout the project Required Skills: • 8+ years of overall software testing experience with a strong focus on functional testing • 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead managing teams of 6 to 8 testers • Hands on experience with State Integrated Eligibility systems • Strong functional knowledge of eligibility and benefits programs including Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and Child Care • Strong understanding of eligibility determination workflows and cross program integration • Experience working on state government or public sector projects • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM • Strong test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting experience • Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills Preferred Skills: • Experience supporting large scale State Integrated Eligibility implementations • Experience coordinating testing across multiple eligibility and benefits programs • Experience with state health and human services systems • Experience with test automation initiatives within large scale eligibility programs • Experience with requirements traceability and test coverage management • Experience preparing testing metrics and executive level status reports • Experience working with distributed project teams • Experience mentoring and developing QA team members • Experience supporting production readiness and implementation activities Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
