Job Description:

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead daily testing laboratory operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow planning.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and methodologies aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Oversee the calibration, operation, and maintenance of high-current, high-voltage, and environmental testing equipment.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop test engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

  • Analyze complex test data, interpret results, and communicate findings through detailed technical reports.

  • Partner with engineering, quality, and product teams to validate requirements and support product development initiatives.

  • Promote and maintain a safe laboratory environment that prioritizes operational excellence and compliance.

  • Manage laboratory budgets, capital equipment purchases, maintenance schedules, and resource planning activities.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.

  • Seven or more years of experience in a testing laboratory environment, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, circuit breakers, protective devices, and industry testing standards.

  • Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition tools, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, LabVIEW, and MATLAB.

  • Proven experience developing testing methodologies, validation processes, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or comparable quality management systems.
