Qualifications

• BS Degree in science or engineering (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics; ability to review electrical schematics
• Understanding of basic statistics
• Familiarity with SQL and statistical processing software (e.g., JMP/JSL, Minitab, SAS)
• Experience coding in object-oriented languages (C++, Java, C#, VB.NET)
• Experience with optical and electrical test and measurement equipment (e.g., optical spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters)

Responsibilities

• Debug and solve complex hardware and software problems for internal product testers
• Produce detailed documentation with a strong attention to detail
• Collaborate in a team environment professionally interacting with all levels from technicians to Sr Directors
• Lead the commissioning and release-to-manufacturing of opto-electrical test stations
• Support operations process engineering to improve test system uptime
• Provide continuous support and documentation for Contract Manufacturers
• Guide the construction team in delivering test capabilities on time, including necessary documentation
• Coordinate with vendors on RMA and RFQ of commercially available test equipment
• Utilize AI for data analysis and tool development
