Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Test and Evaluation Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain hardware and software test architectures and plans in support of Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in hardware and software testing, test environment development, fault analysis, and stakeholder management. The candidate will be responsible for leading test efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, and producing comprehensive test documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software test architectures and plans.
  • Execute test cases and threads.
  • Lead fault analysis efforts and troubleshooting.
  • Author test plans and test reports.
  • Evaluate new technologies and assess their maturity for implementation.
  • Locate and coordinate appropriate test sites.
  • Provide test results through formal and informal reports and briefings.
  • Sustain and maintain test environments for fielded systems.
  • Write, edit, review, and prepare technical documentation for publication and presentation.
  • Coordinate support across multiple CPEs and PMs.
  • Build and maintain test systems.


Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years related T&E experience.
  • Experience performing the duties outlined in the key responsibilities.
  • 4 years' of hands on electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with CPE IEW&S or CPE C3N programs and systems.
  • Experience with hardware and software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and systems (e.g., JMP, Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS, Palantir, BIIR, Google Earth, TIGR, various intelligence-related databases and tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.


Clearance:
  • Active secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.


Education and Certification Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering

The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. This position requires 25% travel to Army and contractor locations within CONUS

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $185,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
