Job Description:
Job Description͏- Serve as the single point of contact and leader for all testing activities on assigned programs or projects.
- Define, own, and drive the end-to-end testing strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
- Lead and manage all testing efforts to ensure production readiness and quality outcomes.
- Provide hands-on leadership and accountability across all testing phases, including:
- Test planning and strategy
- Test data preparation
- Test design and script creation
- Test execution and defect management
- Traceability and compliance reporting
- Implementation and post-deployment support
- Ensure full adherence to Enterprise Testing Standards and governance.
- Actively identify, escalate, and mitigate testing risks and dependencies.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and readiness reports.
- Influence and collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business partners to drive timely and high-quality delivery.
- Mentor and guide testing teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale test management efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Extensive experience in software testing across:
- Development and Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- UAT/BAT
- End-to-End Testing
- Production Validation (PPV)
- Expert-level proficiency in HP ALM OCTANE (all modules).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives.
- High attention to detail combined with strong strategic judgment.
- Project management experience: PMP certification preferred.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
