Job DescriptionThe Test Engineer II creates and maintains application-specific software, hardware, and documentation as required to ensure the quality and integrity of product under limited supervision. This role ensures all elements of the applicable product specifications/requirements are tested and verified.
Responsibilities- Develop test plans, hardware, software, and documentation
- Design specialized test equipment and development of operating procedures
- Interpret test results, identify and resolve test failures
- Improve the coverage, execution, and reliability of existing test solutions
- Collect data and generate test reports
- Provide guidance to entry level test engineers and technicians
- Lead test execution and validate test data to understand test facility and test article performance
- Design detailed test cases based on requirements and test plan
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field of Study
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- OR (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- OR No experience required in lieu of Masters Degree.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance.
Additional Information This position may require access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition of any job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you may need to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
