Program Overview:Join a nationally critical missile defense program designed to detect, track, and intercept long-range threats using advanced sensor fusion and missile launch coordination. The test team plays a pivotal role in validating performance and system readiness.
Role Summary:As a Test Engineer supporting this program's software integration team, you'll coordinate and execute complex test campaigns. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, performing integration testing, tracking test outcomes, and adapting plans as needed to meet evolving mission requirements.
Note: This is a full-time, onsite role with no remote/hybrid option.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and execute test plans and procedures at the system level
- Interpret technical requirements and verification guidance to inform test criteria
- Support software integration and validation with automated and manual testing
- Utilize scripting tools and test automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers and systems engineers to ensure quality outcomes
- Monitor and report on test progress and product quality throughout execution
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 9+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years)
- Direct experience with:
- System-level integration and test execution
- Developing test criteria from requirements
- Programming in C++ and scripting with Python
- GUI test automation tools (e.g., Eggplant)
- Source control tools (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:- Security+ certification
- Familiarity with missile defense systems or MDA programs
- Experience using Cameo or MBSE tools
- Basic understanding of Java
- Active Top Secret clearance (preferred but not required)
