The Opportunity:
As a Test Engineer, you'll help manage system integration activities, develop and coordinate test plans, track requirements and technical issues, and support system-level verification and validation. You'll work closely with engineering teams to maintain technical documentation, capture system configurations and interfaces, and develop user-facing materials including operating procedures and user manuals.

Responsibilities:
Support the integration, verification, and delivery of advanced technical systems for critical national security missions. You'll coordinate across hardware, software, firmware, and test teams to ensure complex systems are properly integrated, tested, documented, and ready for use.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance to start
  • Experience supporting systems engineering, system integration, or technical test activities for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Experience developing and managing integration plans, test plans, test procedures, and verification activities.
  • Ability to coordinate technical work across software, hardware, firmware, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Experience documenting system architecture, interfaces, configurations, requirements, and test results.
  • Experience tracking technical issues, integration dependencies, risks, and corrective actions through resolution.
  • Strong technical writing skills with experience developing clear engineering and operational documentation.
  • Ability to translate engineering information into user manuals, operating procedures, installation guides, or training materials.
  • Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management, and verification/validation processes.


Desired:
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience supporting UAS, robotics, embedded systems, communications, sensor systems, or other integrated technical platforms.
  • Experience managing hardware/software integration in laboratory, prototype, or rapid-development environments.
  • Familiarity with requirements traceability and systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Jira, Confluence, Cameo, or similar.
  • Experience planning and executing system-level acceptance, functional, regression, or field testing.
  • Experience developing interface control documents, system specifications, test reports, and release documentation.
  • Familiarity with configuration baselines, version control, change management, and release processes.
  • Experience working directly with end users to capture feedback and improve system usability and documentation.
  • Familiarity with MBSE or SysML is beneficial but not required

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
