The OpportunityJoin an Agile development team building cutting-edge software systems for Navy signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototypes. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will develop automated tests, work with CI/CD pipelines, support containerized applications, and collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to ensure highquality software delivery. This role is ideal for someone passionate about test automation, modern development tools, and continuous integration.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Partner with developers, QA engineers, and customer stakeholders to define test requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Translate customer and cross-functional requirements into endtoend automated test solutions.
- Work with DevSecOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Support and maintain test environments, including containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Troubleshoot and analyze test failures; document results clearly and accurately.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements.
- Integrate software products into multiple environments and support cross-team testing.
Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable systems.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman).
- Experience testing RESTful and AMQ-based applications.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (PyTest, JUnit, Selenium).
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and automated testing integration.
- Strong debugging, problemsolving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
- Strong documentation skills (Confluence, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Desired Qualifications- Experience with Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS).
- Knowledge of networking and data distribution protocols (Vita49.2, TCP, UDP, Sockets, ActiveMQ, DDS).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Interest or experience with RF systems or DSP concepts.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$79,400 - $162,700
