Test and Evaluation Engineer
The Opportunity: As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our team, you'll work with a team of experts to create comprehensive test plans and documentation to support acquisition strategies for Navy and Joint communications systems. You'll support the development and maintenance of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) in accordance with DoW and Navy T&E guidance, policies, and templates. You'll use your experience to collaborate with the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) stakeholders, developers, engineers, and cyber experts to identify and prioritize testing requirements, coordinate test resources to support test events, including equipment, personnel, and facilities, and ensure successful test execution.
You'll work with test organizations to support program integration plans, and plan and conduct activities with members from the user and DoW community. Additionally, you'll identify and maintain relevant metrics for evaluating the success of T&E efforts and identify or assess recommended improvements or tools. You'll analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop test plans and procedures, conduct test execution, data collection, and analysis, and report the results.

You Have: - 5+ years of experience supporting test events or exercises with appropriate configurations of hardware components
- 5+ years of experience with government acquisitions
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing the work of others
- Experience assessing operational and system performance requirements to prioritize T&E objectives and enable evaluation planning
- Knowledge of how T&E feeds into milestone and major acquisitions decisions of Programs of Record (PoR)
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with developers, clients, stakeholders, and leadership
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, and manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, Software, or Cyber field
Nice If You Have:- Experience with test automation
- Experience working with Palantir Artificial Intelligence Ontology
- Ability to write test automation scripts
- Master's degree in a STEM, Software, or Cyber field
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) T&E Level II or Certified Test and Evaluation Professional (CTEP) Certification

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
