Territory Operations Manager- Up to $110,000

About the Role

What You'll do:
  • Provide management, oversight, and training to Branch Operations, installation managers, Operations staff, installers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Work with Territory Sales Managers to ensure the best possible customer experiences.
  • Present sales team with operational capacities and opportunities, or constraints.
  • Work with Install Managers to handle customer issues without giving large discounts
  • Hire and Develop
  • Ensure all installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a customer centric approach by addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor teams' performance, track KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Address pre-production activities to ensure all markets are achieving acceptable cycle times.
  • Develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to review pre-production issues.
  • Provide direction and guidance in performance management, hiring, employee relations, and disciplinary actions to direct reports.
  • Ensure install team is operating in accordance with best practices for safety and ensure safety training and toolbox talks are completed in all responsible branches
  • Proactively manage forward-looking headcount based upon backlog and sales projections to maintain or improve backlog turnover.
  • Goal setting and accountability for all installation managers
  • Work with Sales on complex jobs if needed
  • Analyze data to identify proactive innovations and operational plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and policies related to increase productivity and reduce losses and errors.
  • Ensure inventory counts are completed monthly and all required paperwork is completed daily.
  • Provide cross-training opportunities for direct reports to improve continuity of business.
  • Proactively assist with any aspect of departmental needs.
  • Maintain and keep Company fleet vehicles, equipment and forklifts in good working conditions and all certifications up to date (i.e. title, tags, plates, certifications and annual inspections). Partner with safety director as needed.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an operations leader, preferably in the home services or construction industry
  • Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions and for the results of those decisions.
  • Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others. Remote team management experience desired.
  • Ability to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
  • Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
  • Conduct and appearance is professional and to company standards and policies.
