Job Description

Job Summary
The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing and growing an assigned sales territory while serving as a trusted field representative to the medical community. This role acts as an ambassador for the company, driving sales of company services through prospecting, quoting, and closing new business.

Once services are sold, TM is responsible for in-servicing and educating accounts, as well as managing and growing existing business. The Territory Manager is expected to consistently document activities and opportunities in accordance with company standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role should be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Rhode Island or Connecticut.

  • Achieve revenue goals for service sales and all assigned product lines

  • In-service and educate new and existing accounts

  • Manage all aspects of the assigned territory while meeting or exceeding performance goals

  • Provide daily updates on sales activity, competition, and business opportunities

  • Accurately maintain CRM activity and submit required paperwork in a timely manner

  • Submit monthly expense reports and manage expenses within the approved budget

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to generate new business and expand existing accounts

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company product lines

  • Communicate effectively with Customer Experience and internal teams regarding customer needs

  • Complete issue resolution documentation in accordance with company policies

  • Report to management as directed, providing performance insights and territory assessments

  • OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of medical sales experience preferred (Healthcare, Medical, Pharmaceutical is a plus)

  • Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
