The Territory Sales Manager will own and develop customer relationships throughout the region, including strategic accounts, emerging customers, and new business opportunities across semiconductor, datacenter/AI, quantum computing, aerospace and defense, and test & measurement markets.

This is a highly independent, customer-facing position requiring a combination of strategic account management, technical selling, business development, and territory leadership. The successful candidate will work directly with customers and regional sales partners to identify applications, develop technical and commercial solutions, secure new design-ins, and grow Ardent's position within both established and emerging accounts.

The Territory Sales Manager will work closely with Applications Engineering, Customer Relations, Product Development, Marketing, and company leadership to support technically demanding customer programs from initial engagement through qualification, design-in, and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own bookings, pipeline development, forecasting, and account growth across the EMEA and Asia territory.
  • Develop and execute regional and account-level growth strategies for strategic customers, emerging accounts, and targeted new business.
  • Build strong relationships across customer engineering, procurement, program management, operations, and executive organizations.
  • Identify new programs, applications, platforms, and design-in opportunities where Ardent's technology can provide value.
  • Lead technical sales opportunities from initial discovery and qualification through quotation, negotiation, design-in, and production.
  • Develop commercial strategies for significant RFQs and opportunities, including pricing, competitive positioning, negotiations, and long-term account development.
  • Coordinate Applications Engineering, Product Development, Operations, Customer Relations, and other internal resources to support customer opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with regional manufacturer representatives, distributors, and other sales partners as applicable.
  • Establish clear expectations and priorities with regional sales partners and regularly evaluate pipeline, activity, and performance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of major customer programs, technology roadmaps, organizational structures, competitive activity, and future requirements.
  • Identify and develop new strategic accounts throughout EMEA and Asia.
  • Maintain accurate account, opportunity, pipeline, and forecasting information in Salesforce.
  • Provide reliable bookings forecasts and communicate significant opportunities, risks, and regional developments to sales leadership.
  • Represent Ardent through international customer visits, technical meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other business-development activities.
  • Work effectively across time zones, cultures, and different customer and market environments.
  • Provide regional market intelligence and customer feedback to Product Development and Marketing to help guide future product and commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with other Amphenol businesses when opportunities exist to expand customer relationships or develop complementary solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, strategic account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience selling engineered products or technical solutions into international markets strongly preferred.
  • Experience with RF/microwave, electrical interconnect, semiconductor test, electronic components, instrumentation, quantum technologies, aerospace/defense, or related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop customer relationships and manage complex technical sales cycles.
  • Experience working with manufacturer representatives, distributors, or other indirect sales channels preferred.
  • Strong commercial judgment, including experience with pricing, negotiation, forecasting, and account strategy.
  • Ability to understand technical customer requirements and effectively coordinate internal engineering resources.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively across different cultures, time zones, and business environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform preferred.
  • Additional language capabilities are beneficial but not required.
