In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales by proactively working with customer accounts across various segments and industries within the assigned territory to generate service and aftermarket sales opportunities from the installed base of motors, generators and drives. Each day, you will focus on promoting value adding solutions to customers and engage in consultative selling and build long-term customer relationships. The territory encompasses the states of ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, CO, AZ, and NM.

This role is contributing to the Motion Services Division in the US.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Capture the potential of the installed base of motors, generators and drives by promoting our portfolio of value-adding solutions to the benefit of the customers and ABB.
Execute structured sales activities focusing on a number of well-established accounts combined with hunting for opportunities with new accounts to build and maintain a healthy pipeline, all documented with high discipline in Salesforce.com.
Define and execute account plans to penetrate target industries and accounts while building and maintaining key customer relationships.
Collaborate across ABB divisions, portfolio management, and tendering teams to develop winning proposals and actively participate in negotiations for key projects

Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work experience
Business to Business sales, selling a technical product or solution required.
Proven ability to manage full-cycle sales and strategic accounts, from discovery to closing.
B2B sales, selling a technical product or solution is required.
Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, electric Motors & Generators, and related applications.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory (up to 70%).
Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office; fluent in English.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
