TERACAI Strategic Account Executive

The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $100,000 + uncapped Incentive earnings, offering significant upside potential.

Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including geographic location, skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, and overall alignment with business and organizational needs.

Location: Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo or Albany, NY

SUMMARY:

Initiate sales of technology products. Develop, foster and grow customer relationships and account base within assigned region. Meet and exceed assigned sales goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for driving sales and increasing market share through net new business acquisition in assigned territory.
  • Sustain customer relationships to provide great customer service, technical knowledge, and drive opportunity to solve customer problems and/or achieve their business goals.
  • Deliver the company's value proposition to prospects and customers to support sales of networking, voice, data center, security, cable products and professional services.
  • Drive customer budget planning sessions and engage all necessary resources effectively for action items
  • Schedule annual road map and technical overviews to support customer technology requirements.
  • Establish strong strategic partnerships with key manufacture personnel and commit to full understanding of product and service offerings.
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales pipeline.
  • Develop an annual business plan updated on a quarterly basis including plans by product and customer to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to account management.
  • Responsible for creating effective quote and proposal context for all opportunities.
  • Ability to conduct customer presentations from small to large audiences
  • Participate as a collaborative member of a sales and technical team.
  • Attend various business events within assigned territory to increase business network and brand awareness.
  • Provide accurate product specifications, detailed billing instructions and customer requirements for each sales order.
  • Obtain sales/product certifications as needed.
  • Provide customer feedback and industry information to sales management and company leaders.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years sales experience in a quota bearing position.
  • IT industry experience required.
  • Experience selling Cisco, Dell, & Juniper technologies preferred.
  • Must have strong customer service, account management and relationship building skills.
  • Must possess effective prospecting and cold calling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competitive, high achiever who persists despite obstacles, opposition, or setbacks.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while demonstrating strong attention to detail, appreciation of deadlines and commitment to follow-up is essential.
  • Proven self-starter with motivated attitude to accept responsibilities.
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
