Description

The Finance and Business Economics Area of Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Finance beginning September 1, 2027. The position is open to candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The base salary range is: Assistant, $200,000-$250,000; Associate, $250,000-$275,000, commensurate with rank and qualifications. Competitive summer research support is also provided. Candidates from all areas of finance will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda, teach undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral courses, advise and mentor students, and participate in the intellectual and service activities of the Area and the Gabelli School of Business.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, or a directly related field, or expect to earn the degree within one semester of the start of the appointment. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for high-quality research and publication in leading finance journals, as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching. Candidates with prior faculty experience should have a demonstrated record of research productivity and effective teaching.
