Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Associate Director, Remote Office Network Lead II to join our Digital Nexus organization for a twelve-month assignment.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure, optimize, and maintain Cisco-centric local area network environments including switches, routers, and connectivity across one hundred plus geographically dispersed US office locations
  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless networks and 4G/5G cellular neutral host systems to deliver seamless connectivity
  • Oversee Cisco Catalyst Center and centralized network monitoring suites to maintain network health, automate configurations, and maximize uptime
  • Partner closely with Workplace Services and Facilities teams to plan, stage, and execute network buildouts and hardware refresh initiatives
  • Perform advanced root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for LAN/WLAN issues, ensuring rapid incident resolution and minimal business disruption
  • Develop and maintain technical network documentation and standard operating procedures, coordinate vendor quoting/procurement, and travel to remote site locations as required
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent hands-on network engineering experience in large, geographically dispersed enterprise environments
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required; Cisco Certifications: Active Cisco professional or expert-level certifications in Routing & Switching or Enterprise required, with a strong preference/emphasis on CCIE Wireless / CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Deep technical expertise in core networking protocols and architecture, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, SNMP, and advanced Routing & Switching, alongside modern wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and cellular neutral host network architectures
  • Proven analytical, research, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and a track record of driving rapid root-cause resolution for complex network incidents
  • Strong professional business communication and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and manage stakeholder expectations under high-pressure or critical situations
  • High adaptability with the willingness to work flexible hours as required for critical maintenance windows or project milestones, along with the ability to travel to remote branch office locations as needed
