DescriptionCenCore is seeking a
TEMPEST RF Technician - ADF Secure Construction Expert to support the ADF program in Aurora, Colorado. This role is primarily focused on TEMPEST RF testing, technical support, secure facility evaluations, and customer accreditation activities. The position also supports secure construction-related responsibilities when needed, while keeping RF/TEMPEST work as the primary focus. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on RF experience, practical secure construction knowledge, and the ability to support mission-critical work in a cleared government environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and support RF and TEMPEST-related testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation for the ADF program.
- Use RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, antennas, probes, receivers, and related diagnostic tools to assess RF performance, vulnerabilities, emissions, and compliance concerns.
- Support secure facility work, SCIF build activities, site evaluations, and customer accreditation requirements.
- Provide timely technical response to RF testing needs driven by ADF mission requirements and customer schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, test results, findings, analysis summaries, and recommended courses of action for CenCore leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Support RF and TEMPEST-related technical discussions with internal teams, customers, construction stakeholders, and senior leaders.
- Develop practical recommendations to address RF-related issues during SCIF builds, inspections, testing events, and accreditation activities.
- Coordinate with and at the direction of the CenCore Chief Security Officer, perform TEMPEST/RF testing plans, site assessments, corrective actions, and customer deliverables.
- Perform Construction Surveillance Technician-related duties when needed, consistent with contract requirements and mission priorities.
- Support other operations with RF/TEMPEST work when needed; most RF/TEMPEST work is expected to be performed at the ADF.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
- Active TS/SCI clearance highly preferred; candidates without an active clearance must be willing and able to undergo and maintain a security clearance.
- Associate degree, undergraduate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in RF, electronics, telecommunications, secure facility support, technical testing, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience performing RF testing, RF analysis, signal analysis, electromagnetic testing, TEMPEST-related support, or secure facility technical support.
- Experience using RF test equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, antennas, probes, receivers, and related diagnostic tools.
- Practical understanding of RF theory, signal propagation, shielding, grounding, interference, emissions, and technical testing methodologies.
- Experience supporting secure facility environments, SCIF builds, construction-related security requirements, or accreditation-related technical requirements.
- Knowledge of ICD-705 standards and secure facility construction/accreditation requirements.
- Ability to interpret test results, identify technical risks, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce detailed test reports, findings, and corrective action recommendations.
- Ability to work primarily onsite in Aurora, Colorado in support of the ADF program.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with radio frequency shielding, electromagnetic shielding, or emanations security.
- Experience supporting government SCIF builds, ICD-705 accreditation, secure construction projects, or cleared facility operations.
- TEMPEST, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, RF shielding, or related secure technical testing experience.
- Experience supporting RF or TEMPEST-related technical discussions with government customers.
- Background working in government contracting, cleared facilities, intelligence community environments, or Department of Defense secure spaces.
- Experience developing technical courses of action for urgent customer requirements.
- Prior Construction Surveillance Technician experience or experience supporting secure construction oversight.
- Ability to operate independently in dynamic, mission-driven environments with minimal supervision.

Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis position is primarily onsite in Aurora, Colorado in support of the ADF program. Local applicants are strongly preferred. Most TEMPEST RF work is expected to be performed at the ADF, though limited travel may be needed to support other operations. Work may be performed in secure government facilities, active SCIF build environments, customer sites, and technical testing locations. Candidates must be able to work professionally in sensitive environments, follow site security requirements, use RF testing equipment, support field-based technical assessments, and adjust to changing accreditation or customer schedules.
