The Temp, Visual Merchandising Manager, East Coast position is based in the New York office. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Visual Merchandising, Image and Regions. The VM East Coast Manager will primarily support the NY Metro region with in-store VM execution, while occasionally supporting with administrative tasks.
- Liaising with Global VM, manage the planning, organization and execution of all VM guidelines through product placement, window & creative installations, and mannequin styling.
- Empower the ability to adapt display based on the store's requirements and architecture, considering local needs and business trends.
- Analyze weekly business results with Retail management to ideate and implement creative VM strategies to drive the regional and zone business, while always maintaining the brand aesthetic.
- Manage a regular frequency of store visits to provide feedback, training and development to Store Management
- Communicate with the regional VM teams through calls, photographic requests, recaps, and providing feedback on displays when necessary.
- Be a Dior ambassador to the region with an optimistic and collaborative attitude. A positive and professional leader who is able to navigate a fast-paced retail environment with ever changing priorities and schedules.
- Excellent understanding of Visual Merchandising (5+ years' experience preferable, including a background in management).
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on display composition, balance and color. Strong photography skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to deliver work with a standard of excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and experienced people manager, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and problem-solve.
- Comfortable engaging with an array of audiences - from global executives, B2B clients and retail teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Flexibility to work a Retail schedule including working late nights, overnights, early mornings, weekends and holidays when required.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $90,000 - $100,000 annually. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
