TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN

As a telecommunications technician you will be trusted to work on specific technology.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
• Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting, installation, or removals of Voice and Video endpoints.
• Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory
• Responsible for creation, modification, and removal of Voicemail user profiles on the Voice Infrastructure.
• Responsible for configuration of the Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
• Responsible for responding to security incident reports
• Works with customer tickets in the SupportIT ticketing system

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
• Experience: 3+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory; SupportIT ticketing system; Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
• US citizenship required
• Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
• Certification: Must be 8570 compliant with a Security + certification

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $39.12 - $52.92. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
