TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN

As a telecommunications technician you will be trusted to work on specific technology.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

● Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting, installation, or removals of Voice and Video endpoints.
● Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory
● Responsible for creation, modification, and removal of Voicemail user profiles on the Voice Infrastructure.
● Responsible for configuration of the Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
● Responsible for responding to security incident reports
● Works with customer tickets in the SupportIT ticketing system.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Experience: 1+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory; SupportIT ticketing system; Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
● US citizenship required
● Certification: Must be 8570 compliant with a Security + certification
● Location: Annapolis Junction, MD


The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
