Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT Management or 10 years' equivalent experience.
• Experience in network architectures and design.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, Visio, and Project.
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in professional or personal settings.
• Proactivity in addressing challenges and implementing innovations.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and National Electric Code.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan network communication systems for voice, video, and data.
• Provide Layer 1 solutions for various communications, including copper and fiber setups.
• Create specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering staff for requirements analysis and technical solutions.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis for hardware/software selection and implementation.
• Monitor network hardware operations for configuration integrity.
• Plan and implement network enhancements and advise users on hardware requirements.
• Evaluate new communication technologies to improve network capabilities.
