Telco Infrastructure Engineer
This role has been designed as ''Onsite'' with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.
Job Description:
To work in Telecom Infrastructure Domain, focusing on HPE ProLiant server validation specific to Telco requirements(Carrier grade features), server NIC, memory, storage drive performance testing, OS validation, RFC 2544, Memory performance benchmarking, stress tests, Thermal Power and Performance characterization, Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) Testing
Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Responsibilities:
3 To work in Telecom Infrastructure Domain, focusing on HPE ProLiant server validation specific to Telco requirements(Carrier grade features), server NIC, memory, storage drive performance testing, OS validation, RFC 2544, Memory performance benchmarking, stress tests, Thermal Power and Performance characterization, Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) Testing etc
3 Build automation scripts to perform validation/testing
3 Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.
3 Leads a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
3 Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
3 Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required:
3 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
3 Typically 4-6 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
3 Compute(Server) and Networking(Switching) HW knowledge
3 Good programming skills in Python, Ansible, Shell scripts etc
3 HW Testing skills including experience in IXIA, XENA or other traffic generators
3 Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
3 Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.
3 Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
3 Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

- United States of America: Annual Salary USD 111,500 - 211,500 in Colorado // 106,000 - 243,000 in Texas
