Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Technology Solutions Supervisor works closely with Product Support, Rental, Sales, and Service departments to provide direction on various corporate initiatives related to digital solutions; including connectivity, eCommerce, equipment management, onboarding, and other related services for Hawthorne.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Lead Hawthorne's construction technology products and services, including Product Link, Vision-Link, Cat Central / PCC, Cat Inspect, S• O• S, and related digital solutions.
  2. Serves as the technical subject matter expert for all aftermarket digital solutions.
  3. Lead and oversee training for customers and Hawthorne personnel on digital applications, including Cat Central, PCC, and Vision-Link.
  4. Leads and develops the digital services team and manages departmental performance on key metrics with oversight on employee development and training.
  5. Continuously improves standard operating procedures for Product Link troubleshooting and installation (CI, P&E). Provide oversight and training for technicians on said SOP's.
  6. Develop and execute strategies that increase customer engagement and growth through eCommerce and digital solutions (customer activation, retention, administration, support).
  7. Grow adoption of equipment/fleet management technology/solutions with customers.
  8. Analyzes telematics, inspection, and other relevant equipment data to identify data-driven fleet insights and develop customer centric solutions.
  9. Develops growth strategies for digital application adoption for customer facing sales representatives.
  10. Partner with Sales, Service, Rental, Marketing, Training, IT, Parts, and Product Support teams to support company initiatives and customer objectives.
  11. Develop strategies to increase customer up-time through fleet management services.
  12. Maintains technical expertise in emerging technologies, digital solutions, and industry trends to support business growth and innovation.
  13. Performs and supports various other duties and projects as assigned to meet the company, department, or individual objectives.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  1. Ten years of experience in construction equipment industry.
  2. Five years of digital/technology experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Product knowledge in Caterpillar and associated product lines preferred.
  5. DBS and/or AS400 experience preferred.
  6. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  7. Must have a valid California Class C Driver's License with a good record.
  8. Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  9. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  10. Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
  11. Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
