As a
Technology Services Engineer II in our
Overland Park office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Why We Need You:In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
Expertise of our most successful Technology Services Engineer II: - Engineering Degree required.
- BICSI RCDD or CTS-D preferred.
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- PE License or ability to become licensed.
- Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
Effective skills to help you flourish:- Experience with Building Technology Systems and/or Electrical infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of TIA, BICSI and NEC standards.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Physical Security Systems (access control and security video).
- Experience with or willingness to learn Audio Visual Systems.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Information Technology Network infrastructure (switches, servers, wireless) and security.
- Revit Family Development.
- Strong verbal communications skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work individually and within team environments.
