In this role, you will help ensure Commodities & Global Markets (CGM) technology risk is managed in line with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Framework while contributing to broader regional initiatives. You will collaborate with technology teams and senior stakeholders to ensure technology risk is effectively identified, assessed, and managed, providing proactive advice and challenge on control effectiveness and emerging risks. You will lead risk incident analysis, drive remediation, and embed a strong risk culture through training, assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Leveraging tools such as Power BI and AI capabilities, you will enhance risk insights, automate control testing, and support strategic change across the business.

- Experience in technology risk, cyber risk, audit, or assurance, ideally within financial services or professional services
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls, and governance practices
- Experience or interest in data analytics, automation, cloud technologies, or AI tools (e.g., Power BI, coding/scripting)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
