We are seeking a
Technology Procurement Specialist to support hyperscale data center and AI infrastructure programs in a PMC/owner's representative capacity.
This role is focused on procurement coordination for high-density IT infrastructure and requires strong experience with AI compute hardware, supplier ecosystems, and construction-readiness alignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate with the owner's IT and infrastructure team on technical specifications, procurement timing, and acceptance testing requirements for AI compute infrastructure packages.
- Manage procurement coordination for hyperscale IT infrastructure equipment.
- Track GPU clusters, servers, networking equipment, and related hardware packages.
- Coordinate procurement for liquid cooling manifolds and rack-level power distribution.
- Monitor supplier commitments for high-density compute hardware.
- Coordinate with OEMs, ODMs, vendors, integrators, and project stakeholders.
- Align hardware deliveries with power, cooling, and structural readiness.
- Sequence equipment deliveries against building readiness milestones.
- Review supplier updates for schedule, delivery, and readiness risks.
- Escalate risks affecting installation, commissioning, or turnover.
- Maintain procurement trackers, delivery logs, and risk registers.
- Support procurement reporting, lookaheads, and leadership updates.
- Maintain accurate procurement records in designated project systems.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related fields.
- 7+ years of procurement experience in data center, cloud, infrastructure, or AI compute programs.
- Experience in hyperscale operator, colocation, cloud hardware, or enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
- Experience procuring GPU clusters, servers, networking equipment, liquid cooling manifolds, and rack-level power distribution.
- Understanding of NVIDIA and AMD hardware supply chains.
- Understanding of ODM and OEM manufacturer relationships.
- Understanding of lead time dynamics for high-density compute hardware.
- Ability to align IT hardware deliveries with construction readiness milestones.
- Ability to assess whether spaces are powered, cooled, and structurally ready.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, vendors, project teams, and construction stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, organization, follow-up, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience supporting hyperscale data center or mission-critical construction projects in a PMC, owner's representative, developer, or client-side environment.
- Experience with AI compute infrastructure or accelerated computing programs.
- Experience coordinating equipment delivery with commissioning or installation teams.
- Experience with procurement systems, ERP platforms, or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with logistics coordination for high-value technology equipment.
- Experience with Procore, Oracle Unifier, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Smartsheet, or Power BI.
