Job DescriptionEssential Functions- Identify and manage external partners, including vendors, universities, nonprofits, and civic technology organizations aligned with City priorities.
- Maintain a pre-vetted vendor marketplace with clear capability profiles, engagement guidance, and use cases.
- Coordinate with procurement and legal stakeholders to support compliant, innovation-friendly engagement models.
- Develop and publish playbooks, templates, and training materials that guide departments through piloting, evaluation, scaling, and reuse of solutions.
- Provide guidance to departments and Relationship Managers on appropriate partner engagement and vendor selection pathways.
- Track partner performance, outcomes, and alignment with program objectives.
- Produce reports on ecosystem utilization, performance, and gaps.
- Maintain documentation and standard processes for partner and marketplace governance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsCompetencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong partnership and vendor management skills.
- Working knowledge of public-sector procurement processes and constraints.
- Ability to develop clear guidance and training materials.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
Preferred:- Experience working in or with government procurement environments.
- Experience building vendor ecosystems or managing partner portfolios.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Technology Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in partnerships, vendor management, program management, or procurement-adjacent roles.
