This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, operations-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, and takes pride in maintaining critical systems that communities depend on every day.
This role requires on-call rotation and you must live in or be willing to relocate to Wisconsin within two hours of an ATC control center, which are located in Pewaukee and Cottage Grove. This role is not available for remote work.
Essential Responsibilities:Why This Role Matters- Directly impact system uptime, reliability, and service continuity
- Own monitoring and response
- Support mission-critical systems that the transmission operators depend on
What You'll Do- Own response coordination to interruptions in the reliability of network and telecom services
- Monitor systems and troubleshoot outages, latency, and circuit issues
- Coordinate with NOC, third parties, and internal support teams
- Perform installations, upgrades, and decommissioning
- Follow change management standards and procedures
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation and asset records
- Participate in on-call rotations
What You Bring- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting network/telecom infrastructure
- Knowledge of IP networking (WAN/LAN)
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, or optical equipment
- Troubleshooting connectivity and circuit issues
- Experience with cabling, installations, and lifecycle processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

The targeted base pay for this position is $89,500 to $104,400 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
