Symetri is seeking a Technology Consultant - Civil/Water Resources to join our growing Infrastructure team.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, client-focused professional with experience in water infrastructure modeling, civil design technologies, and utility system planning. You will work directly with clients to evaluate workflows, implement solutions, and drive measurable improvements across design, modeling, and operational processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze, demonstrate, and integrate AEC technologies to improve design and construction workflows
  • Translate client business challenges into effective technical solutions
  • Deliver technical support, training, and implementation services
  • Develop standards, workflows, and supporting documentation for modeling and design processes
  • Lead client engagements, including solution presentations and discovery discussions
  • Define and communicate value through ROI metrics and business outcomes
  • Support sales efforts through technical expertise, demonstrations, and webinars
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted advisor relationships with clients

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in civil/water resources engineering or related technology consulting
  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Water Infrastructure solutions (e.g., InfoWater, InfoDrainage, InfoWorks, Info360)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Esri ArcGIS
  • Experience with water, wastewater, or utility system design, planning, and operations
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Capital planning and asset management for utility systems
    • Hydraulic modeling, including calibration and validation of water/wastewater models
    • Ongoing hydraulic model maintenance and data management practices
  • Strong understanding of design-to-construction workflows and multidisciplinary coordination
  • Proven ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and engage with clients
  • Professional licensure (P.E., P.L.S.) or industry certifications (ENV SP, CFM, GISP) a plus, but not required.
