  • Produce meaningful reporting for stakeholders, translating technical details into business updates.

Salary Range: $82,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

As a Technology Care Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the technology initiatives that help our teams deliver exceptional care and operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

The Technology Care Project Manager provides project management leadership and coordination across the Information Technology department, working directly with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to maintain visibility and drive delivery across the full portfolio of IT projects. This position is responsible for organizing, tracking, and facilitating projects while ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into progress, risks, and priorities. Work is performed on-site in the Bakersfield office and requires frequent collaboration with Information Technology staff and organizational leadership.
  • Maintains portfolio-level visibility across all Information Technology projects and provides the CIO with clear, current status updates regarding project progress, risks, dependencies, and items requiring executive attention.
  • Administers and optimizes Jira, including project boards, workflows, dashboards, automation rules, and reporting. Supports teams with project planning, task development, backlog management, and project organization.
  • Leads larger and cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, timelines, stakeholder communication, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Provides project management support to teams managing their own initiatives by assisting with planning, reporting, project recovery efforts, task breakdown, and overall project coordination.
  • Produces concise and meaningful reporting for leadership and stakeholders while translating technical details into clear business-focused updates.
  • Identifies risks, dependencies, and barriers to project success and works proactively to drive resolution or appropriate escalation.

Qualifications

Experience and Education
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Work Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience, preferably in an Information Technology, software, healthcare, or technology-driven environment.
  • Experience administering and utilizing Jira, including workflows, dashboards, boards, reporting, and project organization functions.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and maintain a high level of accountability and follow-through.
  • Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry is preferred but not required.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI-ACP are preferred but not required.
