Responsibilities

  • Review specifications to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Alert the team of potential technical issues regarding designs and risks.
  • Support change requests and coordination of technical integration meetings.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Act as the Cabinet Engineering focal with between Bombardier multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers.
  • Prepare different types of Engineering documentation to support start of design activities.
  • Define technical requirements and participate in strategic planning.
  • Find & propose opportunities for product & process improvement (cycle time reduction, ease of production, weight reduction etc.)
  • Review specifications for accuracy across documentations
  • Be mindful of project potential technical issues (critical designs, risks etc.)
  • Support Change Requests.
  • Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet program needs.
  • Participate in aircrafts go & see in production to assess build or installation issues.
  • Communicate efficiently with colleagues, cross functional teams, and upper management.
  • Validate certification documents as required to ensure design comply with regulations.
  • Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your larger team.
  • Develop 3D concepts as required to support change management deliverables such as PCR, RFQ, and VROM.

  • You have more than 10 years relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions. Cabinet experience is an asset.
  • You have solid experience with Catia/Enovia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.)
  • You are well organized and focused on projects.
  • You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.
  • You have good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
