Job DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated
Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in
Splunk Enterprise and
Oracle SQL/PLSQL to support mission-critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, database troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement in a 24x7 production environment.
Primary Skill: Splunk Enterprise- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
- Create and optimize SPL (Search Processing Language) queries.
- Onboard, configure, and manage application log sources.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify issues.
- Perform log analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Drive observability and operational excellence through effective monitoring.
Secondary Skill: Oracle SQL / PLSQL- Write and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and cursors.
- Troubleshoot database-related production issues.
- Support batch processes and backend application functionality.
- Analyze and optimize SQL execution plans and database performance.
- Ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Required Skills- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk administration and monitoring.
- Expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL development.
- Experience with production support, incident management, and problem management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service monitoring practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 production support environment.
Mandatory Skills: Oracle DB Infra Consulting.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
