Job Title: Technician IV
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Job Type: Full-time, 6-months, On-Going Contract, W2
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Onsite
Pay Range: $52.75 per hour
Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future. Job Description: Key Responsibilities - Build and bring up RF test setups using attenuators, splitters, SMA cables, and RF test equipment.
- Calibrate RF test setups using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
- Verify signal routing and test configurations prior to engineering use.
- Support engineering teams with test setup modifications and troubleshooting.
- Manage lab equipment, tools, and inventory to ensure organization and availability.
- Track, label, and organize hardware boards across multiple development projects.
- Maintain inventory records using Excel or similar lab management tools.
- Coordinate equipment servicing and calibration activities.
- Support documentation needs for audits and compliance tracking.
- Maintain lab safety standards and proper equipment handling procedures.
Requirements - Experience in lab operations and technical support environments.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting RF test setups.
- Experience calibrating RF environments using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Experience maintaining inventory and equipment records.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical setups and support engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of laboratory safety procedures and equipment handling practices.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting Wireless SoC development environments.
- Experience working with RF hardware development teams.
- Familiarity with RF measurement methodologies and industry best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Experience supporting compliance, audit readiness, and equipment calibration programs.
